The Academic Staff Association (ASA) of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has urged the university’s agitating workers to remain peaceful and resolve their problems through talks.
The ASA, in a resolution adopted at an emergency meeting here on Tuesday, said that the violent attitude by some workers, who are on strike for the last one week, will not be in their interest, rather it will be damaging for the university’s good reputation.
