Ambassador of Bhutan envoy, monks visit Peshawar Museum

PESHAWAR: Ambassador of Bhutan to Pakistan Bap Kesang along with a nine-member delegation of monks visited the Peshawar Museum on Saturday.

 

An official communique said that Archaeology and Museum Director Dr Shah Nazar Khan briefed delegates about the Buddhist archaeological sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the conservation work being done there.

 

The monks were told that the Peshawar Museum had the most extensive collection of the Gandhara art in Pakistan and was famous
