LAHORE - The National Students Federation condemned the proposed cuts in education expenditure in the federal budget from 2 to 1.8 per cent of the gross domestic product (GDP).
NSF Punjab President Arfan Chaudhry demanded that Education budget should immediately be revised and set at eight per cent of the GDP. The NSF Lahore chapter on Sunday staged a sit-in in front of the Lahore Press Club to demand an immediate increase in the budget from the current allocation of Rs47
