Renowned scholar Obaidullah Baig passed away on Friday morning at the age of 76.
His daughter, Amina Baig, said that he had been suffering from cancer. “He lived a great life, and he passed away peacefully,” she said.
For more than 50 years he remained attached to the broadcast media, working for Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan.
He was known for the PTV programme, Kasauti, and for his documentaries, mainly on environmental
