ISLAMABAD, The government has earmarked Rs15.8 billion under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for 163 schemes of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
But the HEC officers termed the budget insufficient and said that they had demanded Rs21.6 billion after having an assessment from Asian Development Bank.
The schemes include establishment of over 20 higher educational institutions all over the country.
According to budget documents, some major allocations are Rs117 million
