Joint Executive Director Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Dr Seemin Jamali said on Saturday that instead of making the JPMC a university, the government had elevated the Sindh Medical College (SMC) consisting of only six basic science departments to the status of a university.
