A representative of the Environment Protection Department (EPD) could not satisfy the Green Bench of the Lahore High Court on Friday over treatment of wastewater released into the river Ravi and the bench summoned the EPD secretary in person on the next hearing.
The bench put off the hearing until June 8. Over unsatisfactory replies of the director laboratory of the EPD, Justice Sayed Mansoor Ali Shah remarked that the department was not serious about resolving the issue. As the
