Lyari is an area that is as famous for its love for football as it is for the skill of its footballers, but as the finals of Euro 2012 approach, the restive area is not abuzz with soccer fever as the residents have other matters on their mind.
On Friday, District Commissioner Mustafa Jamal Qazi and SSP South Asif Aijaz held a meeting at the Lyari Football House and announced that 15 to 20 screens would be put up in various areas to allow the locals to follow their favourite sport.
