LAHORE, June 13: The Shafeeqabad police claimed on Wednesday to have recovered a student who staged drama of his kidnap.
Muhammad Bashir of Karim Park alerted the police on June 12 that his son Awan Bashir, 18, left home on June 11 and didn’t return and that his cell phone was also powered off.
The police registered a case and launched investigation. The complainant informed the police on Tuesday afternoon that he received a call by unidentified people who demanded a Rs1 million ransom
