LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) today directed President Asif Ali Zardari to give up one of his offices in line with the court’s order till September 5.
Zardari is the country’s president as well as the co-chairperson of the ruling PPP.
A three-judge LHC bench heard the case today (Wednesday).
The court asked whether it could initiate proceedings against the president despite his immunity.
The petitioner said it was a civil case of contempt of court, not the criminal one. He
