Punjab govt to spend Rs195b on education sector

LAHORE – Punjab Education Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman said on Thursday that the provincial government would spend Rs195 billion on the education sector during the next fiscal year.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of UK’s Lancaster University that included Vice Chancellor Prof Mark E Smith, Prof Robert Mckinaly and Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof Steve Bradley.

The meeting was also attended by the pro vice chancellor and faculty members of Comsats Institute
