Reversion to one weekly government school holiday draws mixed reactions

The Sindh government has reverted to one weekly holiday at all government schools and colleges, and, according to a statement, all government schools and colleges will remain open on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.

 

Stakeholders have expressed mixed reactions to the decision.

 

“We live in a city where school days are outnumbered by strikes. In principle, there should be a minimum of 200 working days, but we only have 170,” said Hyder Ali of the Peak Private School
