Rotten commodities rule the roost at Sunday Bazaars in Lahore

LAHORE – The sale of rotten and low-quality fruits and vegetables is going unchecked at Sunday bazaars of the provincial capital, thanks to negligence of the market committees.

The poor people usually rush to the Sunday bazaars to benefit from subsidised rates of the commodities, but vendors deceive them by selling unhygienic commodities.
