Zakat committees asked to release Rs 98m for students
LAHORE: The Punjab Zakat Council has asked district zakat committees to release an amount of Rs 98.77 million under the heads of educational scholarships (general) and educational scholarships (seminaries). The decision was made by the Punjab Zakat Council in its 139th meeting, held under the chairmanship of Zakat and Ushr Secretary Capt (r) Jehanzeb Khan, on Saturday.
