Sikh yatris arrive for Ranjeet Singh’s death anniversary in Pakistan

LAHORE: A delegation of more than 500 Sikh yatris will arrive at the Wagha Border today (Wednesday) to observe the death anniversary of Mahraja Ranjeet Singh.

Evacuee Trust Property Board has finalised all the security and residential arrangements for the delegation and would welcome it at Wagha Border.

Mahraja Ranjeet Singh ruled from 1799 to 1839 and his empire spanned from Punjab to Afghanistan’s border. He is revered as a hero by the Sikhs. Singh ruled the empire for more than 40
