ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Academy of Letters on Thursday organised a literary reference to condole the death of eminent scholar and poet late Allama Bashir Hussain Nazim. Iftikhar Arif presided it over. Paying tribute to the literary grandeur, poetic mastery and authority over Urdu, Persian and Arabic, Arif said that late Nazim “really stood at the top of those writers and scholars who could be rated as an authority in these subjects”.
