Unicef gets $3.7 million EU support to combat malnutrition in Pakistan

Unicef has received $3.7 million (3 million euros) from the European Commission (EC) to combat malnutrition among Pakistani women and children, who have been affected by floods and conflict. The nutrition interventions will help reach more than half a million people, mostly children, informs a press release issued simultaneously from Brussels and Islamabad here on Friday.

 

The support comes at a critical time, as nutrition is a key concern in Pakistan, where up to 10 million
