LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) has claimed that King Edward Medical University (KEMU) was being subjected to electricity overbilling.
YDA office-bearers, during a media briefing on Tuesday, stated that KEMU’s electricity bill for April stood at Rs 16.5 million, while that of the adjoining hospital – Mayo Hospital – was Rs 10 million. The total electricity bill of the university was even greater than that of the hospital for the month of April.
