ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is engaged in setting up model study centres and regional campuses throughout the country, especially in deprived and far-flung areas. The move aims at ending illiteracy, poverty and backwardness in the country.
“Our teachers are playing a vital role in promoting the university’s mission,” AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi told a delegation of teachers who called on him under the headship of Academic Staff Association (ASA)
