ISLAMABAD: The US has said there will be no restrictions on US investments in the areas of defence and nuclear cooperation under the Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), to be signed with Pakistan, a senior US official said on Wednesday.
In a background briefing on the issue, the US official said that the negotiations regarding the BIT were in their final stages and hoped the treaty would be signed soon.
