Aga Khan University World Heart Day
KARACHI:23 September :Aga Khan University Hospital has chalked-out an elaborate program to celebrate World Heart Day on Sunday with the theme One World, One Home, One Heart in the backdrop of the fact that Cardiovascular diseases are the world's largest killers, claiming 17.3m lives a year. Risk factors for heart disease and stroke include raised blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels, smoking, inadequate intake of fruit and vegetables, overweight, obesity and physical inactivity.
