Allama Iqbal Open University rises to promote basic education
ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has devised a comprehensive plan to promote education in every nook and corner of the country through distance-learning system, said the university’s vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi. He said this while delivering his key-note address at the two-day international conference on basic education, held in Chinese city of Chengdu. The plan is also aimed at meeting millennium development goal, ensuring education for all by the year
