PESHAWAR: A candidate for the post of lecturer in Area Study Centre (Russia, China and Central Asia), Peshawar has challenged appointments in the centre by its director after 18th Amendment claiming that the vice-chancellor of University of Peshawar was the competent authority to fill all the vacant posts of lecturers and professors.
