Crash programme on larvae surveillance launched in 10 UCs

The district health department has launched a crash programme on larvae identification and elimination in as many as 10 union councils of Rawal Town to avoid an outbreak of dengue fever.

 

The union councils selected for larvae surveillance are considered the most high-risk areas with regard to the dengue fever spread, as during the spike last year, nearly 80% of the confirmed cases reported in the district were from these
