KARACHI, Sept 11: Habib Bank has signed an agreement with UnionPay to issue UP cards in Pakistan and in global markets where HBL has presence. A press release issued by the bank said this new partnership is a major breakthrough in forging the ties between the financial institutions in China and Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Masood Khan lauded HBL’s pioneering efforts in establishing linkages with Xinjiang Autonomous Region and major Chinese banks.
