KARACHI - Many of the areas in city plunged into darkness with all major thoroughfares flooded with rainwater as the first full-fledged spell of monsoon rains hit the provincial capital on Wednesday.
Having received a light rain early in the morning, the metropolis witnessed a relatively heavier spell in the afternoon that inundated the city roads where the commuters, specially those driving light vehicles, were seen running here and there in search for a shelter.
