LAHORE
The Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) has criticised the Punjab government for asking teachers to join schools on Sundays for an anti-dengue campaign.
In a statement, PTU office-bearers condemned the Punjab government saying dengue mosquitoes could not be eliminated by making teaching staff to attend schools on Sundays. They added the move was affecting schoolteachers especially female teachers.
