School syllabus blamed for religious extremism

LAHORE: Speakers at a seminar concluded that religious extremism in society, especially among youth was an outcome of what they were being taught through school and college syllabi.
A seminar, titled ‘Religious extremism: Impact on Inter and Intra Peace’ was held on Wednesday. Centre of Peace and Civil Society Executive Director Jami Chandio presided over the seminar.
