Three young students drown

UMERKOT, Sept 14: Three students drowned in a pond of stagnant rainwater in the desert area of Umerkot on Friday. A group of students along with their women teachers had gone to Banbhralo Tarai, some five kilometres from here on Umerkot-Mithi Road for a picnic. The students were playing in the pond when three of them, Tuljaram, 12, Abdul Jabbar, 13, and Urs, 15, drowned.
