Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Executive Director Professor Riaz Ahmad Warraich has ordered inquiry into a pregnant woman’s death in the hospital allegedly due to negligence of doctors.
Farhat died in the hospital’s labour room prompting members of her family to agitate blaming the death on the doctors’ negligence. To pacify the irate family, Professor Warraich was quick to order an inquiry into the charge.
