WORKSHOP “Capacity Building of the Staff of Teacher Education Institutions” LAHORE:A WORKSHOP “Capacity Building of the Staff of Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs)” with an aim to guide and facilitate the staff of the TEIs to conduct internal evaluation of the academic programmes, prepare self-evaluation report, facilitate and prepare external audit/accreditation was held at a local hotel.

Secretary Literary and Non-Formal Education Punjab Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik and Chairperson National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) and Ex-Vice Chancellor University of Education Prof Dr Munawar S Mirza were the chief guests on the closing ceremony of the workshop.

Dr Mirza explained how a national accreditation body like NACTE could facilitate to achieve the uniformity of standards at the national level envisioned in the 18th Constitutional Amendment.The news
