Work on new blocks in govt schools underway Rawalpindi: On the order of the Punjab chief minister, work on construction of new blocks in government schools for girls has been initiated.
In this connection, MPA from PP-14, Raja Hanif, visited different schools of the city to inspect the scope of work. During his visit, Raja Hanif issued necessary instructions directing the concerned staff of the building department to complete work on all blocks in different government schools by the second week of June.
Educational institutions, where construction of new blocks is underway, include Government Girls High School, Magistrate Colony; Government Girls High School, Dhoke Kashmirian; Government MC Girls High School, Satellite Town; Government Girls High School, Bihari Colony and Government Girls High School, Pindora.
For completion of this project, the Punjab chief minister has allocated a special grant worth Rs200 million.The news
