Dadu Lecturers and professors boycotted examinations for class xi and xii at Degree College Boys Johi on Wednesday in protest against behaviour of external of college Mr Mazhar Loond. After boycott, they also observed hunger strike.

Talking to journalists, Professor Aziz Kingrani, Prof Sain Bux Rind and Prof Hafiz Ghulam Nabi, said that the controller of examinations of Hyderabad board had deputed a junior lecturer Mazhar Loond who until now was a probationer.

They said that the external forced the staff to search students during papers of mathematics and physics. They said that on refusal, Mr Loond misbehaved with the staff.

They demanded of the minister for education to order cancellation of his deputation otherwise the boycott would continue. Dawn
