VC urges Malakand parents to educate their children
MALAKAND (APP): Malakand University Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Mohammmad Rasool Jan on Friday urged parents to equip their children with ornament of education in order to preparing them for tough future challenges.He said equal responsibilities lied on the shoulders of NGOs and civil societies to give special focus on promotion of quality education so that needy and poor students should not be deprived.Addressing to a workshop jointly organized by Law Department and Bacha Khan Education Trust here, the Vice Chancellor said, “The nations that are focusing on acquiring knowledge enjoy the blessings of progress and prosperity and turn out to be dominant over those nations that lack in the field of education.”Rasool Jan advised students to work hard and not show any negligence in this regard. He also urged them to behave properly with fellow students regardless of sect and background.Despite owning approximately 70 percent of the world’s oil, 135 billion Muslims were still far behind the developed world because they lagged in the field of education. He appreciated the role of Bacha Khan Education Trust for promotion of education in Khyber Pakthunkhwa. Bacha Khan Education Trust training coordinator Arbab Altaf said these kinds of workshops and conferences have been organized in seven districts with positive results.F.P. Report
