Insan Students Foundation Completed a training programme in LAHORE ABOUT 100 male and female media studies students in the province completed a training programme on ‘Identifying the Subtle and Gross Media Biases’, aimed at enabling them develop alternative media products for promotion of peace, tolerance, diversity and gender equality in line with the national and international commitments.

Insan Foundation Trust (IFT), a national level human rights organization working for peace, democracy and women’s empowerment, in collaboration with United States Institute for Peace (USIP) provided the training. The conclusion ceremony of the training was held at a local hotel here on Wednesday.

Many media studies students from different universities of the province, faculty members of the universities, representatives of leading civil society organisations, human rights, child rights and women rights activists from all parts of the country attended this forum-Media for Peace Tolerance and Diversity in Pakistan.
