The appointments of the incumbent vice-chancellors (VCs) of the University of Karachi (KU) and the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) were made in violation of merit and they are likely to get an extension in their tenures, which are about to end.
Dr Shershah Syed, member Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), levelled these charges while addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club.
