Dow University of Health Sciences DUHS postgraduates yet to get raise announced in July

Postgraduate students of the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) working at the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) have demanded of the government to intervene and direct the university authorities to pay them salaries that were increased through a notification in July 2011.

In July 2011, the Sindh government through a notification had increased the salaries of postgraduates (PGs) to Rs42,500 per month while house officers’ salaries were increased to Rs24,000 per month.
