The Punjab government is working on a plan to promote the teachers serving in the government schools under in-service quota system and the decision in this regard is likely to be announced soon.
Well-informed sources told The News here Friday that the promotion plan is in pipeline and the Punjab government has directed the concerned authorities of the educational departments and directorates to submit lists of the teachers who are eligible for promotion as per merit and
