Rawalpindi The shortage of teachers in academic institutions persists, as the Punjab government has failed to do the needful.
According to well-placed sources, there is a shortage of more than 1,500 teachers-instructors in the Punjab government schools, including primary, secondary, middle and higher standard academic institutions, based in the Rawalpindi division for last three years.
