The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and other doctors’ organizations have demanded that the King Edward Medical College (KEMC) should be restored as a constituent medical college of the King Edward Medical University without withdrawal of its degree-awarding status.

The unanimous resolution came at an emergent executive committee meeting of the Pakistan Medical Association, Lahore, with Dr Tanveer Anwar in the chair.
