Karachi General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chapter, Naseem Siddiqui has demanded arrest of the students involved in manhandling Prof Shah Alam of the Department of Philosophy at University of Karachi (KU) and his wife.
He said that the KU Vice-Chancellor (VC) must take a firm action against hooliganism in the university and ensure ouster of these elements from the campus. He said that the teachers play a vital role in spreading education and violence against them was not acceptable
