Lahore High Court Chief Justice reserves verdict in Bahaudin Zikriya University Multan students torture case

LAHORE Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Tuesday reserved verdict on a suo motu case against torture of two students of Bahaudin Zikriya University Multan by activists of a student union.

In this case, the Multan sessions judge was directed to hold an inquiry into the incident.

The CJ had taken notice on a news item published in different newspapers which highlighted the incident occurring in the city of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
