Irregularities alleged in International Urdu Conference
Some members of the Arts Council of Pakistan alleged at an emergency press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday that of massive irregularities and mismanagement were witnessed at a musical concert in which Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed on Friday night.
The members, who strongly condemned the sitting body of the Arts Council, claimed that around 2,000 invitation cards were given to non-members for Rs2,000 to Rs5,000 each.
