New Islamic year to start from 27th
The new Islamic year will start on November 27, according to the Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi.

The new moon would be seen on November 25, while the new crescent would set 5 minutes 16 seconds before the sunset in the metropolis so it would not be visible in Karachi, the director of the institute, Prof Dr Jamil H Kazmi, said on Thursday.

He added that the new crescent would not be seen anywhere in Pakistan.
