KARACHI The University of Karachi (KU) has beefed up the security at the campus, an official of the institution said on Sunday. The decision came following an incident at the campus on Thursday when some students reportedly roughed up a lecturer allegedly after their cars had collided. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui chaired a meeting attended by senior faculty and officials of the university. He regretted the alleged manhandling of the teacher and called for stern action
