LAHORE: An exhibition of paintings by Abrar Ahmed, titled “A Symphony in Line and Ink”, kicked off at the Ocean Art Gallery on Thursday.
The paintings show women adorned with jewellery in an attempt to show dissatisfaction of the soul despite the wealth and luxury of modern living.
Abrar has attempted at depicting the idea of a rootless and alienated existence by the pensive expression of his female figures, reflecting his view of today’s urban life.
