Peshawar: The Engineering University Teachers Association (EUTA) on Wednesday demanded of the government to appoint the new vice-chancellor from senior serving faculty members of the university.
According to a press release issued here, the demand was in the executive body meeting of the EUTA which was chaired by its president Eng Äbdul Hadi. They demanded of the KP governor to give due consideration to make the appointment of the new VC strictly on merit as per the HEC criteria.
