Mohammed Irfan Boota began drawing ever since he could hold a pencil. He is tall and broad. Standing at 6.5 feet, the 29-year-old man easily attracts attention as the most imposing person in the room.
“I am fond of drawing faces that tell stories,” he says. Irfan has been volunteering for an NGO working for street children for the past eight years. He has drawn more than 100 sketches of street children to date and displayed them in a number of exhibitions across the city.
