The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) continued strike on third day to press for its demands and threatened to shut down PIMS, NIRM and Federal Government Polyclinic if its demands were not accepted.
A large number of paramedics, nurses, clerical staff and low-scale workers held a sit-in in front of the National Press Club here on Wednesday.
The protesters demanded resignation of Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi and chanted slogans against her,
