PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to explain its position over appointment of a doctor from the Lady Reading Hospital as professor at the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), depriving senior doctors of their right to promotion.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Miftahuddin Khan and Justice Mian Fasihul Mulk issued notice to the provincial government through the secretary health, asking it to submit a written reply within 10 days.
